SasuSaku--Chapter Cuatro

“Squue! When?! When?! WHEN?!”
The embarrassed couple sat on one side of the Ichiraku kart, while the other two sat on the other side. Sakura’s eyes were and a wide smile was placed on her face while Sasuke just had his arms folded and quietly listened to the blabbing engaged couple.
“Geez, Sakura-chan, do you want all of Konaha to know?” Naruto said while he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.
“Pretty much! I mean one of my best-friends is getting married!” she squealed as she started picturing all the people at the wedding.
“Oh yeah, Sasuke! You’re my best-man!”  Naruto said glancing over at the ice-cube.
Sasuke glanced up and smirked. Sakura couldn’t be positively sure, but she swore she saw a small, small, small, small smile form on his face. She gazed at him again and studied his features. His obsidian eyes had softened alittle while his face wasn’t so tense. She smiled softly and turned her attention back to the couple.
“So, Hinata-san, who’s your bride’s maid? Hanabi?”  Sakura asked glancing at the blushing girl sitting next to Naruto.
“N-no...Hanabi wasn’t really happy to f-find out...” she replied turning her head to Naruto. His face stiffened and he just attempted to smile, but failed.
“Yeah, Hanabi doesn’t really want us to get married, none of her family does.” He added looking down at his bowl of ramen.
“Neji-san is some-what okay with it. B-but not totally.” She said placing a hand on Naruto’s shoulder. He smiled gently at her and glanced back at the other two sitting a few feet away.
“B-but, Haruno-san, I was thinking…i-if you wanted to…you could be my bride’s maid.” Hinata said softly smiling at the wide eyed teen in front of her. Sakura’s face lit up and she rushed over to Hinata and practically squeezed the living daylights out of her. Hinata’s face turned red, either from lack of air, or from the close contact, but she kept a smile on.
“Sakura let the girl breathe!” Sasuke said walking over and removing her hands from the air-deprived girl.
“Um, you’re welcome Haruno-san.” Hinata said quietly. Naruto put his arm around his fiancé and smiled widely at the two, who were still holding hands.
“Um, Sasuke, you can let go now.” Sakura said noticing this and turned pink. He slowly let go, trying not to make it a huge scene. She smiled nervously as he turned away.

“Awe! Are you two next?!” Naruto said referring to the blushing teens before him.
Soon their eyes went wide as they glanced at each other.
“Ewe! Why would I want to marry a self-considered jerk like Sasuke?!”  Sakura bellowed exaggerating. She tried to contain her laughter.
Sasuke’s face hardened as he turned to walk away. Sakura noticed this and stopped her laughing.
“Wait! Sasuke, I was only kidding!” She yelled down. He kept walking, ignoring her remark.
Naruto and Hinata just turned to each other and frowned.
“Don’t worry Sakura-chan, Sasuke-teme with get over it.” Naruto said reassuringly.
She sighed and quickly waved good-bye. She took off attempting to catch up with him.
“Sasuke! Sasuke, wait up!” she yelled.
He turned around and glared at her approaching figure.
Soon, he stopped and let her catch up. She appeared before him, head down with her hand on her knees trying to catch her breath.
“What do you want?” he said coldly, venom seeping from every word. She frowned and remained her normal composure.
“I wanted to say I was sorr-“
“I don’t need your sympathy. Get out of my site, your annoying.” He cut her off and harshly turned and briskly walked away. She simply stared wide-mouthed and watched his retreating figure walk down the old alley way.
